Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring any kit?

We provide boxing gloves and skipping ropes just make sure you bring some water! If you wanted to join in the sparring you would need a gum shield but this isn’t mandatory!

Do I need to have any experience?

No you don’t need any experience at all! Our experienced & qualified coaches will ensure that you are kept up to speed. Our classes are also geared towards teaching the fundamentals rather than advanced flashy techniques.

Is there sparring?

Yes, sparring is carried out in every session; with the aim to implement the skills we have learned throughout the class into real boxing scenarios.

However if you do not want to participate in sparring, then that is fine also. There’ll be other stuff you can get on with to improve your fitness & your boxing skills, without ever getting hit!

All sparring is controlled, we do not let people go harder than we want them to!

Yes, every class has its own unique & structured session plan. Whether it’s acquiring new skills, refining old skills, or building up fitness; each session will give you a fresh experience.

How many coaches are there?

At all times we have at least 2 coaches present at the classes. This will ensure that everyone is able to get coaching attention, and keep up with the flow of the class.

In addition to this, it helps with safeguarding your children while keeping it a fun & uplifting environment.
